About Tywardreath
Tywardreath, meaning “House on the Strand”, is a small hilltop village on the south coast of Cornwall, about 3 miles (5 km) northwest of Fowey. Par Harbour and the beach at Par Sands are south of the village, another small beach is at Spit Point west of the harbour. Par railway station is on the mainline from Penzance to Paddington and is the main connecting line to Newquay.
